Gambling – Commission issue GDPR guidance

The Gambling Commission has now published an information note regarding the upcoming introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Processing of personal data will continue to be required in order to achieve compliance with a gambling licence, as such the Commission have been working closely with the ICO to ensure that the way in which licensees are interpreting and implementing GDPR does not conflict with the requirements of gambling regulation.
